What is commercial clearance?
Commercial clearance is the removal of waste, fixtures and unwanted stock from business premises, such as a shop closing down, a warehouse being handed back, or a unit being refitted. A licensed carrier loads it, disposes of it legally and documents the transfer.
The jobs vary more than house clearances. A retail unit might need shelving, counters, mannequins and a stockroom of cardboard cleared before the keys go back. A warehouse might be pallets, racking and bulk bags of packaging. A workshop might be offcuts, old machinery parts and rubble from an altered floor.
Because commercial waste is covered by a legal duty of care, every business clearance comes with a waste transfer note showing what was removed and by whom. Electricals are kept separate and disposed of legally as electrical waste.
Access is usually the practical question: loading bays, service roads, shutters, lifts and estate rules. Tell us about them when you send photos and we will plan the vehicle and the timing around them, including early mornings and weekends.

How much does commercial clearance cost?
Commercial clearance uses the same published load prices as our domestic work: from £130 for a quarter load (up to 250 kg) to £390 for a full load (up to 1,000 kg), labour and disposal included. Heavy clean hardcore and soil from refits are charged per load or ton, at £230 per load / ton and £260 per load / ton.
Larger premises are priced by the number of loads. Photos or a walk-round video are enough for a fixed quote and a schedule.

What we cannot take
We cannot take hazardous waste: asbestos, paint and other liquids, gas bottles, chemicals or clinical waste. If you are unsure about an item, ask when you send your photos and we will tell you before we quote.

Do we get a waste transfer note?
Yes, a waste transfer note is supplied for every commercial clearance as part of your duty-of-care records. It records what was removed, the date and our carrier registration number.
Can you do regular or contract collections?
We can discuss scheduled collections for businesses that generate waste regularly, such as weekly or monthly packaging and stock clearances. Tell us the volume and frequency and we will confirm what we can offer and at what price.
Can you clear premises outside trading hours?
Yes, we are open seven days a week from 6am, so early-morning, evening and weekend clearances are routine. Tell us the estate or centre's access hours and we will fit the slot inside them.
